Breakfast

Last weekend I made us a quick breakfast. SP wanted an omelet but I was in the mood for gooey egg yolks so I poached myself two eggs and served them eggs Benedict-style:


... on toasted English muffin halves with strips of crispy bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked and delicious.


I also cooked some mushrooms with garlic:


They were good, but SP said the garlic pieces were too raw to be eaten whole. Next time I'll leave them off our plates, but they did impart a nice flavor to the mushrooms.

  2. Oh my goodness, I LOVE poached eggs - but I can't for the life of me do them! I have a request - next time you have poached eggs, can you cut the egg and take a photo of the yolk? I know that sounds really strange haha - but since I can't do it myself I have to live through others! :P

    Katie - Poached eggs are so easy! Have you tried them lately? I promise you can do it. But yes, the next time I make a poached egg I'll do an inside shot for you. :)
