I've yet to find a good recipe for cold sesame noodles to make at home. I tried a new recipe and had high hopes because the mixture tasted fantastic, but it was completely soaked up by the noodles, which left a dry, sticky mess on the plate. And I don't know what went wrong with the green beans since I'd made this recipe before, but they were incredibly salty and almost inedible. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

Cold Sesame Noodles and Asian-Style Green Beans
I was really looking forward to this meal, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

You win some, you lose some is right. I made four new recipes this week. One was great, one was okay, the other two were... eh. Not okay. I didn't have my camera at all though (I left it somewhere about an hour away over the weekend) so while I happily skipped pictures of the bad ones, I can't even post the great one. Meh.
ReplyDeleteMelissa - Bummer!! I hate when I forget the camera. :(
