Pizza Friday

  1. Your pizzas always look so amazing. I have a pizza stone and I've used it a few times... the crust comes out pretty good. But what I can never get right is the sauce. I like a pizza sauce that is kinda spicy (not so sweet). Do you have a good pizza sauce recipe to share?

  2. Kristi - I keep the sauce really simple. I take a large can of crushed tomatoes and add salt, pepper and oregano and cook it over low heat until it thickens slightly and the flavors combine. I can usually get enough sauce for 3 pizzas out of one large can of tomatoes. If you want it a little spicier, just add red pepper flakes with the other seasonings. Delicious and simple.
