We'd been debating dinner all day, mainly because we hadn't thought to defrost anything and neither of us wanted pasta and sauce. When I tell you we spent a solid hour going back and forth about what to eat, I'm not exaggerating. Just when we decided on something (gourmet pizza from the new place down the street), we'd change our minds when we realized (1) it's expensive and (2) we'd need double the pizza because we needed leftovers for lunch. We finally decided to just get hoagies from our friend's shop since the smalls are big enough to eat half one day and half the next.
I got the special hoagie:
... with various deli meats, provolone and American cheeses, lettuce, onion, tomato, oil, vinegar and mayo. We also got a side of macaroni salad, which really hit the spot. Sometimes you just need a hoagie.
