Last Sunday I made a big pot of soup for dinner later in the week. I saw this recipe for
Mushroom Soup on Katie's blog and knew it would be a winner since SP is a huge mushroom lover. Here's the pot after I added the mixed mushrooms, thyme (which I subbed for the sage), onions, shallots and garlic:

The end product isn't as pretty as I wanted it to be, but it still tasted great.

I always serve soup with crusty bread for dipping.
