Red Robin

I'm sorry about the lack of posting lately. Work is kicking my butt and it won't ease up until the end of the month. And it was SP's birthday this past weekend so there haven't been very many meals at home, which means not a lot of pictures to post. I ended up bringing my camera to Red Robin last night to finally take a picture of the Royal Red Robin, my burger of choice when we eat there:

Taken from the website - "This is the aristocrat of all burgers because we crown it with a fresh fried egg. In addition, topped with three strips of hickory-smoked bacon, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes and mayo." I always ask them to add raw white onion to the burger because I think it compliments all the other ingredients perfectly.

Red Robin might be a chain, but we love their burgers and fries, which we get extra crispy with a side of mayo for dipping. Yes, it's a caloric nightmare, but it's damn tasty!

  1. I had never heard of this place, but there is one in Austin which we are going to next time we're there. And I'm having a Royal Red Robin. Thanks for the treat!

  2. Yep its a chain. Those fries are to die for-but I prefer to dip in ranch dressing

  3. I have to admit I kind of like Red Robin too. They have good burgers, good appetizers. Typical American fare, but far better than most, in my opinion.

  4. Red Robin is the bane of my existence. If I went as often as I have a craving, I'd weigh about 500 pounds.

Except my poison of choice is usually the California Chicken Burger (I think that's what it's called). It's decadent and evil.

  5. Snooty - You won't be disappointed. :)

Angela - I saw people asking for a side of ranch for the fries one time we were there. I've never tried it, but it sounds good.

Melissa - We aren't chain fans normally, but Red Robin is just good. Not the best burger on the planet, but always tasty and it certainly hits the spot.

C Laz - Ha! You and me both! I've rarely strayed from my favorite, but the California Chicken Burger certainly sounds yummy.

  7. Wow, egg and burger! We love Red Robin too, but with four kids, don't get there anymore. This might be one to try at home. I'm adding you to my sidebar -- yummy stuff.
