I just don't necessarily think it needs it. ;)Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12439733116558336290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-52872663743931601762007-11-27T20:56:00.000-05:002007-11-27T20:56:00.000-05:00Melissa - We've never had that sweet potato casser...Melissa - We've never had that sweet potato casserole with the marshmallows on top. I think sweet potatoes are sweet enough without all that on top.Sarah - The Home Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07932762716036801924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-11305029183729653802007-11-27T17:10:00.000-05:002007-11-27T17:10:00.000-05:00longhairman is hardcore about the skin LOL!!steve ...longhairman is hardcore about the skin LOL!!

steve loves it too, I don't dislike it, per se, but I pretty much leave it to him.

everything looks really great, HC, especially the turkey and stuffing. I love that you did roasted sweet potatoes instead of doing what everyone else does with them.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12439733116558336290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-76979745757426636352007-11-27T10:27:00.000-05:002007-11-27T10:27:00.000-05:00They'll think of you as a savage :) Just watch!! ...They'll think of you as a savage :) Just watch!! You make a good point about rubbing it with flavor - it goes look so pretty. I'll try it when we have our big family party after Christmas. :)Sarah - The Home Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07932762716036801924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-24019722986771380352007-11-26T17:49:00.000-05:002007-11-26T17:49:00.000-05:00Really? I like it so much that I took it out of the trash (it was on top) and ate it. Now each year they save it for me and give me a look of disgust as I indulge. I don't quite get not eating it. We work so hard to flavor it...rub in herbs and spices...baste it...and get pissed if it burns. Do you mean on the serving plate? My stepdad took the skin off while he was carving the bird. I don't think anyone eats it except for whoever gets the legs.Sarah - The Home Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07932762716036801924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-39339744641319343432007-11-26T14:15:00.000-05:002007-11-26T14:15:00.000-05:00It looks like the skin fell off of the turkey...wh...It looks like the skin fell off of the turkey...what the heck happened????Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32196802.post-63961475584108569362007-11-24T09:18:00.000-05:002007-11-24T09:18:00.000-05:00Oh what a beautiful feast!
